Former Palm Springs Mayor Steve Pougnet arrived at the Riverside Jail on Wednesday to be arrested – well, after he waited a good 30 minutes or so.
Most of that time saw Pougnet, awkwardly sitting along with his legal advisors, seated while the local news, shot video and photos:

According to the Desert Sun, Pougnet spoke to no one and would not even make eye contact with a reporter who asked him questions.
Pougnet was expected to be booked and post post bail later today.
