The Fox and the Fiddle, that bar at the River in Rancho Mirage you went to that one time and then just completely forgot about it until you saw this post pop up on your Facebook page, is changing its menu and its name after less than it opened its doors.
The bar and eatery will relaunch as Dringk – no, seriously, that is what it’s going to be called, beginning December 31.
“It’s spelt d-r-i-n-g-k, pronunciation out of the dictionary, eatery and bar. A concept that’s going to speak to incredible value, a fun, light, causal atmosphere, bar, restaurant. That’s going to offer $5 cocktails, beer, draft, wine, all day long,” owner Kurt Gardner told KESQ.
It looks like the menu is still coming together on the new Dringk website, which also includes a FAQ section that includes a bit of a rant about Yelp – where Fox and the Fiddle has a 3.5 star average after nearly 200 reviews:

On the bright side, there probably won’t be an issue with Yelp reviews in the future as Yelp will assume you are looking for “drinks” and will instead show you a listing of every other bar in town.
