Comedian George Lopez is now in the restaurant business.
George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen, a fast-casual spot, is opening today at 6pm at San Manuel Casino in Highland. The eatery’s menu includes tacos, burritos, bowls, Cabo stuffed potatoes or salads loaded with wood-fired carne asada, herb crusted rotisserie chicken or spit-fired al pastor.
There is also a drink menu with an extensive list of tequilas.

“It is no secret that I am true to my Mexican roots, and I love great Mexican food,” Lopez said in a news release (via The Sun). “It has been a dream of mine for many years to open a restaurant, but it had to be a chill kind of place with great food, made to order, in a bitchin environment that celebrates my heritage.
