Make sure your stuff is tied down, people. It’s about to get windy in the Coachella Valley.
The National Weather Service is predicting strong winds to pick up Wednesday afternoon, lasting into Thursday:

Gust could get into the 50 – 60 mph range in wind prone areas like the pass and DHS, with the rest of the valley seeing gusts in the 30 mph range.
And while the winds will probably be a pain in the ass and may reduce visibility for anyone driving on the freeway, they are bringing cooler temps with them, which is nice.
Thursday’s high temp is expected to be only 73 degrees.
