2 months until the next election and already the political TV ads are starting to air.
This is going to be a very long couple of months.
With loads of cash to burn, Congressman Raul Ruiz began airing his first television commercial this week entitled “Herbert”. The ad features Marine Corps Veteran Herbert Jackson who tells us how the congressman got him shorter wait times at The VA, better healthcare, more funding every for veterans services, duplicates of medals that he had lost:
We have yet to see a general election commercial from Ruiz’s opponent, Assemblyman Brian Nestande, but that is probably because he is busy looking for a bigger kitchen island.
