Just one day after police found the body of a 78-year-old woman in a Banning mobile home, the woman’s granddaughter was discovered dead in a car nearby.

The 25-year-old woman was discovered in her car on Gilman Springs Road on the border of Moreno Valley on Monday, reports the Press Enterprise. The woman is the granddaughter of a woman found in her mobile home on Sunday, according to ABC 7.

The grandmother’s body showed signs of trauma when discovered and her vehicle and granddaughter, who lived with the woman, were reported missing.  The granddaughter’s body was found in the missing vehicle.

When asked whether residents of the area should be concerned about a killer being at large, Banning Police Chief Alex Diaz said “people shouldn’t worry,” but he could not disclose any more information.

Police are investigating.
