Disneyland’s Radiator Springs Racers is a pretty rad experience. You get to see the characters from Cars, drive through Radiator Springs, hell there is even a race at the end! The only problem with Radiator Springs is that everyone knows how great it is – so the line is always crazy long.
But that wait does not matter to Jon Hale, who on Monday is expected to ride the attraction for the 2,000th time.
Hale fell in love with Radiator Springs Racers right when it opened and he told ABC 7 that he was immediately hooked.
At first his goal was riding 300 times, then 600, then 1,000. He’s detailed every race in a little notebook.
After crossing 1,000 laps in July, he decided to double it.
“The only other number to really go for would be 2,000,” he said.
If you say so Jon (how is this guy not his best friend?)
Hale needs 4 more rides to reach 2,000 (he logs every time in what must be a very boring journal) – and he should reach the mark on Monday.
But don’t think for a second he is going to get any help doing it..
He says even though he is friends with the ride’s crew, he gets no preference in line. He doesn’t even use a FastPass.
Hale says he has no plans on stopping, he wants to get to 2,400 by the end of the year.
As for the rest of us, we will just be going to our jobs, taking care of our families, and enjoying our lives – but have fun reaching that goal Jon.
