In their ongoing quest to eliminate as many jobs as possible, McDonald’s is testing self-serve kiosks in Chicago. Customers can customize their own orders on a big flat screen, because what could possibly go wrong with that idea?
One customer decided to take things to the limit. Moshe Tamssot ordered a burger with two quarter pounder patties, a huge “artisan” bun and ten times the amount of every single ingredient available from bacon to lettuce to onions.
Of course, there is some sort of technical glitch that prices Tamssot’s order at over $800. Luckily the still-hired humans are there to fix the error.
