Update: all lanes are now open.
A vehicle fire has things backed up pretty good on the 10 freeway.
Ryan Blondell sent us the photo above at 2:45 p.m. on Friday showing the traffic jam. KESQ reports that several lanes were shut down on the westbound I-10 west of Washington Street after a car-hauler truck caught fire at 2 p.m.
The Desert Sun reports that traffic is backed up to about a half-mile just east of Jefferson Boulevard.
The fire was quickly contained, but there is no word yet on how long cleanup will take.
