A 33-year-old Hemet man was arrested on Wednesday after police say a family member reported that he killed his girlfriend.
Vincent Marples was found in his vehicle about 2:47 pm on Tuesday with the deceased body of his girlfriend, Cassandra Taylor, 32, in a hilly area southeast of State Street and Gibble Road, reports KTLA.
Detectives say that the couple were at the location for some time and, at some point, there was an argument that resulted in Taylor’s death.
According to the Press Enterprise, Taylor sought a domestic violence restraining order against Marples in 2015. Maples also had a bench warrant out for his arrest after he failed to appear at a hearing on January 11 on three felony charges.
