Storms have hit Southern California and, after an entire month without any precipitation, The Coachella Valley is in for some rainfall Monday.

Rainfall totals could be up to a half inch for the Desert.
The best chance for rain will come during the middle part of the day, according to the National Weather Service (via weather.com):

Temperatures in The Coachella Valley should only reach as high as the 60s on Monday – but, will quickly shoot back up the rest of the week as the storms clear out. Tuesday will see a high in the 70s, Wednesday in the 80s, and Thursday could reach as high as 90 degrees.
