Soon, we will all be outside enjoying an 75 degree day while laughing at the rest of the country freezing their asses off while shoveling out their driveways. Unfortunately, we still have to get through another two months of scorching hot insanity first.
The National Weather Service has issue an extreme heat warning for the Coachella Valley running through Thursday.
An excessive heat warning has been issued for the lower deserts Tuesday through Thursday. A heat advisory has also been issued for the inland valleys and inland empire Wednesday and Thursday. Be sure to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities as much as possible. #cawx pic.twitter.com/f6343IRUiv

The warning comes about due to the fact the Coachella Valley will, according to Jerry, see temps on Wednesday and Thursday at 116 or higher.

An upper-level high will boost temps just above 110 this afternoon followed by hotter numbers the next two days.

And, sure, I know you already know this, but it can’t be repeated enough during these sorts of heat waves: when temps soar like this, be sure to stay out of the sun as much as possible, stay hydrated, check on the elderly folks in your life, and DO NOT GO HIKING!!
