The Coachella Valley saw quite a bit of rain on Thursday, as you and my new sump pump are already very much aware. So how much of the wet stuff did we see in the Greater Palm Springs Area?
Official numbers from the National Weather Service are below:
- Palm Desert: 1.73 inches
- Thermal Airport: 1.66
- Whitewater 1.18
- Indio: 1.18
- Indio Hills: 1.18
- Cathedral City: 1.10
- Palm Springs Airport: 0.94
- Sky Valley: 0.89
- Desert Hot Springss: 0.59
- Thousand Palms: 0.40
If you don’t see your area listed, don’t yell at me, yell at the National Weather Service to add a station in your area.
The Coachella Valley will now see a few days to dry out, but more rain is expected next week, so I don’t think I will be returning that sump pump anytime soon.
