As we all adjust to our new lives of self quarantining and sheltering in place, Cactus Hugs will be posting the occasional recipe, way to pass time, or other fun diversion from the never-ending hell that is the every day regular news. If you have an idea of something we should post about (or even want to try your hand at guest posting something), please send it our way.

The recipe below comes directly from Tommy Bahama, which the restaurant said in a press release is “perfect for your home happy hour.” Enjoy!

Tommy Bahama Mai Tai Recipe

  • 1 part Light Rum
  • 1 part Orgeat syrup
  • 1 part DeKuyper Orange Curacao
  • ¾ part Sour mix
  • ¾ part Pineapple Juice
  • ½ part Lime Juice
  • 1 part Dark Rum float

Build in shaker with ice. Pour into glass over fresh ice.

Cheers!
