If you did not attend Weekend One of Desert Trip at the Empire Polo Club in Indio but are planning on going to Weekend Two, you are in luck as those who attended the first weekend are now offering up some quality tips on how best to enjoy the three day music fest featuring the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and the Who.

Seems like some solid advice.
Some on Reddit suggested that sneaking into the front pit area was easy, but others – such as “ILoveLamb” – advised against it:
WATCH OUT if you do this!! I saw a few people get caught trying to sneak by a security checkpoint into the pit. They tried to argue their way out of it, but security cut their wristbands on the spot and they were escorted out. Not a good way to end the festival.
Finally, “Jag” suggests a great place to stay cool during the daylight hours:
If you get really hot and want a cool place to chill out, the photography exhibition has AC and couches. Get there early enough and you can camp out. As the show gets closer, a line will start to form. Regardless, don’t miss the exhibit because it’s full of amazing pictures through the years, including some of the performers together. You can see what a great history they have with each other.
Desert Trip Weekend Two gets started on Friday.
