Update: Looking for things to do in 2018? Head over here.

St. Patrick’s Day, that annual Holiday we celebrate a man who had with those motherf**kin’ snakes on that motherf**kin’ island by drinking green beer and eating boiled meat, is coming up again on March 17. This year, it’s on a Friday – which is not only great news for you to get your drink on, but great news for your boss, as you will be hungover on a weekend instead of company time.

Here’s what’s going on in and around the Greater Palm Springs area (with items to be added as they are announced):

La Quinta Brewing

(Facebook)

The brewery in Palm Desert will be unleashing not one, but two St. Paddy’s style beers (an Irish Red Ale and an Irish Dry Stout) when it opens at 2pm. Meanwhile, the taproom in Oldtown La Quinta will have a Stone tap takeover with Enjoy by 4/20/17, Doublicious DIPA, Hop Revolver IPA, and Jindia Pale Ale (which is freakin’ delicious!).

Get more info here.

The Village Pub

The downtown Palm Springs bar will get things started with food and drink specials at 1pm and a party that kicks off at 8pm.  There will also be a scavenger hunt (?) and a drawing for a pot of gold.
