Teams from the Food Network Show “The Great Food Truck Race” are in Palm Springs for a second day on Tuesday – giving you a chance to try their food and, who knows, maybe be on TV. While it’s strange that the show would have the food trucks in the city of Palm Springs, a city that has not embraced the industry, here they are – and below is where to find them.
Note: we will be updating this post as trucks announce their locations. Locations are subject to change…and probably will – as we have been hearing there have been permit issues with the city. I know. Shocking.
The Mystikka Masala Food Truck
Described as the “World’s only drag queen food truck,” they will be at Jensen’s grocery store on East Palm Canyon from 11 am to 3 pm on Tuesday.
The Lunch Ladies
They will be serving their wraps and fries on Tuesday during lunchtime at Desert Water Agency on Gene Autry Trail.
Super Sope
This food truck will be offering tasty bites from Mexico at the Smoke Tree Village on East Palm Canyon Drive from 11 am to 4 pm.
Team Fat Kid Food Truck
The team had some permitting problems yesterday (in Palm Springs? I know. Crazy). They will be at the Joy of Life Center on Oasis Road in Palm Springs from noon to 1 pm.
Bachelor Kitchen
At this point, we honestly have no idea what this truck is or where it is at. ¯\
