Desert Hot Springs police are investigating after the discovery of a body on Tuesday morning.

Not many details were provided, but Assistant City Manager Doria Wilms told KESQ that police responded to Verbena and Ironwood Drives around 10:45 am after reports of a dead body.

Investigators believe foul play was involved. The identity of the victim was not released.
