L.A. fire Capt. Rick Godinez told The L.A. Times, “It looked like a bomb had just exploded.”

The building had 1.3 million square feet of floor space, and, according to officials, two-thirds of it was consumed by the fire – which also resulted in closed roads and partial closures of the 101 and 110 highways.
