Facebook likes are not, thank God, actual votes for the office of President of the United States. But, if they were, Riverside County’s top pick for President would be a man who knows a thing or two about avoiding getting shot at Popeye’s.
The website FiveThirtyEight compiled Facebook data for the Presidential candidates and, as you can see in the screenshot below, there are a lot of people in Riverside County who like Ben Carson:
Carson (26%) is followed closely by Donald Trump (23%) and Bernie Sanders (21%). Then, the rest of the field kind of trails off (By the looks of it, John Kasich might have just one guy in North Palm Desert who likes his page).
For California as a whole, Bernie Sanders is the top choice for President:
