Update: A woman reported missing in Indio on Sunday was found Tuesday morning alive just northwest of Shadow Hills.
According to the Indio Police Department, detectives found Gail Barboza in the area of Avenue 38 and Madison Street. She was severely dehydrated and suffered from other heat related issues. Paramedics transported Barboza to a local valley hospital for treatment and she is in stable condition.
