A hiker was airlifted from the Bump and Grind Trail on Wednesday after they suffered serious injuries.
Rescue crews were called to the popular hiking trail in Rancho Mirage about 9:32 am. A CHP helicopter airlifted the hiker to a waiting ambulance, and the hiker was taken to the hospital for treatment.
#BumpIncident [UPDATE] – H60 extricated the patient from the hiking trail & delivered to an awaiting medic unit. The patient was transported by ground to an area hospital in serious condition.
