After suffering through a brutally hot 119 degree day on Friday, desert rats of the Coachella Valley saw temps plummet a whole 4 degrees on Saturday.
Another Hot Coachella Valley Day!
Yeah, it wasn’t the record-tying 119° Palm Springs recorded yesterday, but this afternoon’s 115° is still on the toasty side of the heat spectrum. Even for the Desert.

Hopefully, no one saw the slightly cooler, but still ungodly hot, weather as the perfect conditions to go for a hike.
Luckily, it does look like relief is on the way – with temps cooling down a bit both Sunday and Monday. By Tuesday, the forecast is calling for 102 degrees and even a chance of thunderstorms.
I keep waiting for those large fans in the photo to start working better. I do not feel them.
