A report on KTLA about David Bowie’s death turned super creepy on Monday night when some asshole ran at a reporter while yelling FHRITP.
KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade was doing her report at 10:07 p.m. from Bowie’s Hollywood star when a creeper in a hooded sweatshirt rushed up to her from behind with his stupid comment, causing her to scream:

The report starts out ok, but then the man sneaks up behind McDade and makes the inappropriate (and, as we have discussed, super-lame) comment before the camera pans away and a prerecorded segment begins.
The LAPD investigated and believe that the man had brushed up against her while making the dumb remark, but the man never touched McDade, reports The LA Times. A police spokesman said that the incident is not considered “an attack”, but police are investigating the incident as disturbing the peace.
McDade later took to Instagram to thank police and let everyone know that she is ok.
“Hi!! Thank you all for your concern!! 🙂 I am alright! And thank u #lapd for taking a report,” she wrote.
But, needless to say, her TV station was pissed:
