Thinking of doing a little house hunting this weekend in the Coachella Valley? Be sure to stop by Jerry Weintraub’s Palm Desert home as it can be yours for the low, low price of just 16 million dollars.
The legendary producer passed away last year and now his home is being put on the market, reports the Wall Street Journal. The house, inside of Bighorn, offers plenty of space for activities, coming in at nearly 10,000-square-feet and features the things you did not even know you needed like limestone floors and sandstone walls.
The home, designed by Guy Dreier, has 6 bedrooms, including a master bedroom that was described this way in Architectural Digest:
Perhaps the most beguiling room is the sleek yet romantic master suite, dominated by its exotic “floating” bed. Building over the pool, Dreier left a V of glass, exposing the water beneath, that leads up to the bed. “You feel,” he says, “like you’re lying at the foot of the pool looking out over the entire valley.” Especially if the huge, retractable glass walls are hidden, which they usually are. “I keep them open all day, sometimes even at night,” says Weintraub. “It’s like sleeping outdoors under the stars.”
Retractable. Glass. Walls.
There is also an English pub, based on the one at London’s Savoy Hotel, a guesthouse complete with its own spa and outdoor bed, and a pool that wraps around the whole house.
Oh yeah, Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt have all stayed there. So you have that going for you.

If you are thinking of putting in an offer, wait a couple of months for me to get a real estate license so I can get that sweet, sweet commission.
Also, believe it or not, this is not the most expensive home for sale in Bighorn.
