Palm Desert is about to get a new option for sandwiches.
Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches is going in at the Whole Foods Center at Highway 111 and Town Center Way. Signs for Jimmy John’s went up this week and Friday, people were seen in the store applying to work at the franchise while construction crews worked on the building.
Jimmy John’s offers a range of sub sandwiches, club sandwiches, and something called the Gargantuan. Here is how they describe what sets them apart from other sandwich joints on their website:
What makes Jimmy John’s different from the rest is that it’s honest, it’s damn good, it’s damn fast, at a decent price! Jimmy John’s definition of fresh is worlds apart from everyone else’s. Bread is baked in-house everyday and served fresh. Meat and veggies are sliced fresh in-house everyday. No word yet on an official opening date – the restaurant is now open.
