It has taken nearly seven years, but the Jodi Arias murder case finally concluded on Monday morning with Arias being sentenced to life in prison without parole by Judge Sherry Stephens.
Arias, a one-time Palm Desert resident, was convicted in 2013 of the murder of her lover, Travis Alexander, who was discovered dead in the shower of his Mesa home in June 2008. Alexander had his throat slit and been shot in the head and stabbed nearly 30 times.
