64 entries, 2 weeks, and over 30,000 votes later…we have ourselves a winner: Joe Galli is now officially the Best Thing in the Coachella Valley.

The 13 seed came out of nowhere to take home top honors in the inaugural tournament – which will surely be remembered as the best and most important online voting competition in the history of the Coachella Valley.

Galli was so thrilled to hear the news that he took down #1 seed Air Conditioning in the Final Round ( in a 87% to 13% blowout), that he posted the video at the top of this post – which, while it sadly does not include a reference to boning our mother,  does show why Galli garnered so many damn votes and is 2016’s Best Thing in the Coachella Valley.
