Josh Homme apologizes after kicking woman in the head

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has apologized after he kicked a photographer in the head during KROQ’s annual holiday concert in at the Forum in Inglewood.

“It was obviously very intentional,” Chelsea Lauren, the photographer, told Variety. Lauren believes that the attack was unprovoked and that Homme was smiling before he kicked her.

Homme, a Palm Desert High School grad, released a statement Sunday afternoon on social media:

“I did not mean for that to happen and I am very sorry,” the statement partly read. “I would never intentionally cause harm to anyone working at or attending one of our shows and I hope Chelsea will accept my sincere apology.”
