Are you excited to see the Stones and McCartney at Desert Trip? Do you have your tickets? More importantly, WILL YOU SURVIVE?!?! That seems to be the questions KESQ is asking in this not-at-all-over-the-top promo that has been running non-stop on the local teevee.
The local television monopoly, who has already made it clear that Desert Trip is ruining everything, would now like you to know just how violent it could be:
Don’t worry. Finding yourself under your desk in the fetal position is normal after seeing something as horrifying as that promo.
Now sure, Desert Trip will be mostly gentle-natured baby boomers who can afford to shell out $1800 a ticket to see Bob Dylan and the Who and the chances of a violent brawl like this are pretty slim – but, then again, this video of young guys fighting – in what looks like a gym? – while surrounded by digital flames is pretty freakin’ horrifying.
I think after seeing that, everyone will understand if you don’t want to go anymore.
