Football is back (well, preseason anyway) and it is time to grab some beers, find a comfy chair, and root on your favorite NFL team on the TV. But what if you do not have a team to root for? (because you are 2 years old or foreign or something?) Fear not, Julie Buehler dropped by KMIR to “help those of us, who just don’t get it” in this segment.
Calling herself a “bridge” and a “gridiron matchmaker”, Buehler recommends rooting for a team based on your favorite musical genre, because “derp” I guess? According to Buehler, this is how you should find an NFL team:
- Classical: Steelers & 49ers
- Top 40 (“trendy”): Seahawks & Broncos
- Country: Packers & Colts
- Rock & Roll: Bears & Raiders
- Blues: Cowboys & Chargers (oh, blues because they are depressing. Zing!)
- Hip Hop: Bengals
- 70’s Country: Bills
- Folk: Chiefs
These were the only teams and genres listed, so if your taste in music is EDM, jazz, or alternative then I guess you just can’t watch football this year. Sorry.
