A typical day at Knott’s Berry Farm is filled with roller coasters, Snoopy, and some of their famous fried chicken – though you may want to check the health grade next time before you order.

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant was temporarily closed on Thursday night after its permit was suspended for a “cockroach infestation”.

The examination was part of a routine inspection and Deanne Thompson, spokeswoman for Orange County Health Care Agency, told the LA Times, “There was evidence of an infestation and it was enough to suspend the permit.”

Knott’s Berry Farm, referred to the infestation as an “isolated structural incident”.  The restaurant’s permit was suspended at 2pm, but was allowed to reopen at about 9:30 p.m after the cockroaches were exterminated.
