The La Quinta Cinemark Century Theatre in La Quinta reopened Sunday after it had to shut down Saturday after someone stole part of a power line.
The robbery happened sometime Saturday morning, noted Karen Devine of KESQ.

Those who went to the theater hoping to catch a flick were greeted by a handwritten sign explaining that the theater was closed, according to the Desert Sun. It’s not clear exactly what was stolen in the robbery.
A theater representative told us power has been restored to theater and it has reopened on Sunday.
