Landers woman arrested after allegedly threatening to kill her friend with an ice pick

A 42-year-old Landers woman was arrested Wednesday after police say she threatened to kill a friend with an ice pick.

Heather Hoffman was at a home on Napa Road and became aggressive toward some friends about 9:45 am, according to Z107.7. The friends later told deputies that Hoffman grabbed an ice pick and told one of the friends that she was going to kill her. She then ran at the friend, who ran outside with Hoffman following and then throwing the ice pick at the friend.

After an investigation, Hoffman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
