Let’s talk cool drinking spots in the Greater Palm Springs…

It’s Friday and it’s getting closer to the Holidays, so you are feeling more festive than usual. So, let’s take a little time to chat about where the best places in the Coachella Valley are to get a drink or two or five (so long as you are taking the Buzz or an Uber).

I guess we should start with what you are in the mood for.  If it’s a craft beer, you will probably want to head to one of the three breweries or a joint with a lot of good handles (Eureka!, Yardhouse, and Whole Foods, for example).

If it’s a cocktail, you can’t go wrong with Bootlegger Tiki (ask for the Coffee and Cigarettes) for quality drinks or Cactus Jacks if you are just looking for a really heavy pour.

If you are looking to save some dough, Stuft Pizza‘s Happy Hour will help you do that.  And if you want to splurge a bit and enjoy a creative craft cocktail, Workshop is definitely up your alley.

As for you wine drinkers, it’s the Coachella Valley and every place has wine because the snowbirds demand it!

As far as ambience, there are places that are built for you to enjoy the outdoors (the pool bar at Arrive), those that have some hidden gems in the decor (the old school menus displayed at Tonga Hut), and those that just leave a lot of questions (why so many musical stuffed animals behind the bar at Lord Fletcher’s?).

But the places mentioned are just a few options for getting your drink on.  Let’s talk about your favorite spots (and why) in the comments section below or on Facebook.
