Over at weather.com, the forecast for Big Bear Lake is calling for light snow in the morning hours – with a better chance of snow showers coming in the afternoon.
The forecast says 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected, with the storm moving out on Christmas Day – perfect for your snowboarding, skiing, or making snowmen plans.
If your plans have you staying in the Coachella Valley, the forecast calls for a decent chance of rain Christmas Eve morning, clearing out by the afternoon. Highs for both Christmas Eve and Christmas will be in the upper 50s.
Update: KESQ’s Jerry Steffen is calling for up to 10 inches of snow in the mountains.
