Author, actress, singer, and Coachella Valley resident Lorna Luft will be the Grand Marshal of the 26th Annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights on December 1.
The daughter of legendary entertainer Judy Garland, Luft may be best known for her performances in Grease 2 and Extremities with Farrah Fawcett. Joining Luft in this year’s parade is Palm Springs modernist architect Hugh Kaptur along with KMIR’s Gino Lamont – who will both serve as Community Grand Marshals.

Garfield the Cat will also make an appearance, serving as the parade’s Children’s Grand Marshal.
The parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 5:45 in downtown Palm Springs.
