Have you heard? The city of Palm Springs has finally caught up to the rest of the world and is now allowing ridesharing companies to pick up travelers at the airport. So long dumb days of having to walk across El Cielo to save some cash. To kick off the new service, Lyft announced on Tuesday they will give you 50% off your ride to or from the airport from now through the end of April.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Palm Springs International Airport to offer passengers an affordable, convenient and reliable ride,” said Elliot Greenberger, Market Manager of Lyft Southern California. “We want to thank the Palm Springs City Council and City Councilmember Christy Holstege for helping us establish a great experience for riders as they travel to and from Palm Springs.”
Just enter the code FLYPALMSPRINGS into “promos” area of the Lyft app (upper left hand corner) – which you can download here. There is some fine print as the code is valid for 550% of the trip price up to $10 per ride. It’s also valid for up to two rides per person.
