An Indio man was arrested on Sunday evening after police say he brandished a firearm inside a La Quinta restaurant.
Enrique Chavez, 22, was taken into custody after police were called to Burgers and Beer on Highway 111 at about 5:45 pm. Chavez was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and different types of narcotics, according to a news release.
. Chavez was booked into the Riverside County Jail in the city of Indio for being a felon in possession of a firearm, brandishing a firearm, possession of narcotics, and violation of parole.
