Frank Miguel Tornel, of Riverside, pulled the car, which had been reported stolen out of Rancho Cucamonga, into the shop – which was servicing a police cruiser, reports the Press Enterprise.
The officer was alerted to the stolen vehicle by the license plate reader in the cruiser. The officer arrested Tornel a short time later.
Tornel was arrested for possession of known stolen property and several misdemeanors.
