The man who was found guilty of killing Palm Springs police officers Jose “Gil” Vega and Lesley Zerebny was sentenced to death on Friday.

Vega, 63, and Zerebny, 27, were shot and killed with an AR-15 rifle during a domestic disturbance call on October 8, 2016.
