A 20-year-old driver was ejected from his vehicle onto a freeway sign in a fatal collision on the I-5 near Griffith Park Friday morning.

The crash happened about 7 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, reports KTLA. A Ford Focus was seen driving at high speeds on the freeway, when the it crashed into another vehicle. reports ABC 7. The Focus rolled multiple times and at some point, the 20-year-old driver was launched from the car, landing on the freeway sign for the Colorado Street exit.
The driver died at the scene while the 3 people in the other vehicle were reportedly okay.
