A 50-year-old Landers man died at the hospital after he was struck by a Jeep Tuesday night at the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Old Woman Springs Road in Yucca Valley.
The man was in a wheelchair when he was hit by the vehicle about 10 pm, according to the Hi-Desert Star.
Carlson was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:26 pm.
No other details were released.
