A man who had a seizure while hiking on the Bump and Grind Trail in Rancho Mirage was rescued by firefighters on Wednesday.
The incident took place at 12:19 pm, according to a release from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews hiked to the man’s location and called in a helicopter to fly the patient out.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in moderate condition.
