Man stabbed in Twentynine Palms carjacking

A man was hospitalized with life threatening injuries after being stabbed Friday during a carjacking in Twentynine Palms.

The victim, who was not named, was confronted by several men in a parking lot at Adobe Road and Buena Vista, according to a news release. During a fight, the victim was stabbed once in the back. The suspects then took the victim’s car and fled the area.

Deputies and Medical assistance were called to the scene and the victim was airlifted to a trauma center where he was treated for life threatening injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

The suspect description is not known at this time.
