
A man was hospitalized after he was stabbed Friday near the public library in La Quinta.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrived at about 4:30 pm to find find an unidentified male suffering from stab wounds, reports the Desert Sun. He was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown.

The library was place on lockdown while police investigated, notes KESQ. Deputies were quickly able to locate the potential suspect and the lockdown was called off.
