A man is suing Uber for a hefty sum because he says the app caused his marriage to end in divorce.
The guy claims that after he used his wife’s iPhone to book an Uber, he logged out of the app. But, according to the Daily Dot, a glitch kept him logged in and his wife got notifications as to where he was going, leading her to believe he was having an affair.
The woman then filed for divorce, reports Le Figaro.
“Uber doesn’t publicly comment on individual cases, and especially those which concern things such as a divorce procedure,” the company said in a statement.
The case goes to court in March.
