A man who got caught trapped inside of an ATM went through his own personal hell on Wednesday after customers thought the notes he was passing through the machine asking for help were some sort of dumb prank.
A contractor was changing a lock inside a Florida Bank of America room that leads to the back of the ATM and locked himself inside without a key card or his phone, reports AP News.
The man had the brilliant idea to pass notes to customers at the ATM asking for help but, since the world is now just one big YouTube prank-hole now, everyone thought it was a joke and left.
Finally, one wise customer actually called the cops, who got the man out after hearing a faint voice behind the machine and kicking down the room’s door.
