Original Post: Indio Police have released images of a man they say robbed a Circle K in Indio last month while armed with a long rifle.
The armed man walked up to the convenience store on Madison Avenue at about 1:24 am on May 26, according to police. He tried to enter, but was denied access. Then, police say he removed a mask and returned to the store and got a clerk to talk to him.
The clerk did not lock the door after and the suspect returned with a rifle and his face once again covered. The suspect then forced an employee to open the register. He then fled the store with 75 bucks.
The Indio Police Department asks anyone with info on the suspect to call 760-541-4051 or Coachella Valley Crime Stoppers at (760) 341-7867, if they wish to remain anonymous.
