A man’s body was found Thursday afternoon in La Quinta prompting authorities to close down multiple intersections.
The body was discovered around 12:30 pm near the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Dune Palms Road, according to City News Service (via Patch). Police do no believe the man’s death is the result of foul play.
In order to investigate, police have closed eastbound Fred Waring Drive at Dune Palms Road, westbound Fred Waring Drive at Monticello Avenue, and northbound Dune Palms Road between Miles Avenue and Fred Waring Drive.
Drivers have been advised to avoid the area.
